Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA)

This site describes the work of this national organization which provides training, resources, technical assistance, public policy advocacy, media strategies, marketing programs, and special events to help community coalitions prevent substance abuse. Fairfield Prevention Coalition is a CADCA member.  Coalition members receive these services directly and through annual training conferences.

Prevention Action Alliance (PAA)

Statewide Ohio organization formed to advocate for parents and youth in preventing youth illegal substance abuse use. This site provides tips for parents, teachers, and youth advocates. Represents parents and community in Ohio State Legislature. Acts as the “watch dog” for legislation that put our children at risk for unhealthy behaviors.

This site provides education resources to help prevent the misuse of prescription medications and is provided through a partnership between The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and the Cardinal Health Foundation. Explore this site to learn about the scope, causes and consequences of this national public health epidemic and Take Action by sharing what you have learned with others using our free, ready-to-use resources. There is also a platform for you to contact them and tell your stories of prescription drug misuse prevention.

This site is a great resource. PreventionFirst! is a regional organization, formally known as the Coalition for a Drug-Free Greater Cincinnati. This organization provides our EXTERNAL EVALUATION and processes the Student Drug Survey Data for Fairfield and Butler County.
