About Us
Our journey of compassion and hope
Established in 2004, the Fairfield Prevention Coalition is dedicated to fostering a safe, healthy, and drug-free environment in Fairfield, Ohio. Through collaborative efforts and strategic partnerships within the community, our organization actively combats youth substance abuse. Our initiatives empower students within Fairfield City Schools to assume leadership roles in preventing drug misuse among their peers.
Nationally and locally recognized for our impact, the Coalition has successfully reduced underage drinking rates by 32% and maintained low levels of prescription drug misuse, countering broader national trends. We employ a comprehensive approach that includes the engagement of parents, schools, community leaders, and the youth themselves.

WE ARE THE LARGEST GROUP IN OHIO
Leaders in Training shapes self-esteem and identity in 40 middle school leaders. They are mentored by High School Youth Coalition members.
WE FOCUS ON THE NEEDS OF FAIRFIELD
Our certified prevention specialists work within the community, schools and most importantly with youth, to change the policies, practices, and perceptions that lead to illegal substance abuse and other unhealthy behaviors.
